New Foundation Routine

hey hey heeey! so this is my new updated foundation routine. this is not something i do day to day. i only wear this much stuff on my face whenever i want a full flawless look. most day i either wear the Hard Candy Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer with a bit of MAC's msf on top or just concealor and the MAC msf, just depends on how much coverage i want on my face that day.

here i will take you through my full coverage foundation rountine. just to give you all an idea of my foundation color; i'm nw43 in MAC foundations.

i start off by mixing together some of the shades in my concealor palette to create a shade that is a little lighter than the concealor i normally wear. i apply this to the areas of my face that i want highlighted beneath the foundation. i usually put it under my eyes in a triangular shape, also down the bridge of my nose and chin. i apply it to my smile lines by my mouth so that they aren't so noticable. then i blend out those areas.

i use a blending brush to apply my foundations to my face. i especially love this one from the elf studio line. it really gives a flawless airbrush finish.

For foundatin i use a mixture of the Fit Me foundation and the ColorStay foundation. the finish that i get from these 2 blended together is absolutely perect. its not too matte but not to dewey either. if i want to really set it i apply my MAC msf natural in dark on top.

i absolutely love this illuminator/ bronzer by Hard Candy to highlight at the top of my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. It so gorgeous and gives off just the right amount of "glow" to the skin, esp on WOC.... gooooorrgeous!!! this product is so great i think i will do a whole video on it a little later... maybe lol

Sleeeeep!

Heeey! So clearly I look crazy exhausted... That's simply because I am. I just got to Houston and I'm sooo tired!
Here is how my weekend went:
Friday I stayed up pretty late taking an online final, doing girly stuff like painting my nails, and editing videos. I planned to sleep in late Saturday and then wake up to pack but instead my mom wanted me to take my little brother school shopping, so I did. By the time I got back home it was pretty late and I had a hot date with my honey that I had to prepare for on top of packing and cleaning. Anywho, got all that done. Instead of going to bed early for my 8am flight, I stayed up until 3:30am lol. I was so sleepy on the plane but couldn't sleep because the pilot was sooo crappy! I hate flying but I was scared for my life with this guy. Anyways, I'm here, tired and full (just ate some Sonic). I'm going to nap now, this blog has been rambling along long enough.
I'm still trying to decide if I should post my video tonight about my hair, or one about my fav cheek products... What do you guys think??

Golden Bright Smokey Eyes using Inglot Eyeshadows

hola! so this is the look that i did with the inglot eyeshadows that i ordered the other day. i look different in each pic because i did it one day and wanted to tweek certain things about it, so i re-did it and filmed the re-done look. if you would like to know more about the Inglot eyeshadows check out my blogpost on here about Inglot!

I really really love this look! i wanted to keep the inner corner of the eye really bright and open but at the same keep the outer corner area really dark and smokey! Such a pretty look for any occasion and would look great on anyone.

Braves Game

cops taking down a dude that ran on the field in wedding dress... ha ha!
im not much of a sporty girl as far as watching games on tv, but i always have such a blast when i go to baseball, basketball, or football games. the atmosphere is just always so fun and energetic compared to watching it on tv.

The Braves were celebrating their 10,000th franchise win from the night before!

I should have posted this sometime last week but last Saturday my honey and I attended a Braves game here in Atlanta which was really fun. At one point a guy ran onto the field in a wedding dress which was freakin hilarious! I hope you like the little pics I managed to take with my blackberry camera lol. I'm going to get back into carrying my camera around to snap pics when the opportunity presents itself. Hope you all had a good weekend and are enjoying this lazy Sunday!
Oh yeah... Tomorrow morning I'm headed to Houston to visit my fam but I will still be blogging and filming : )

My New Inglot Eyeshadows!!!

I am so excited about my new Inglot eyeshadows. i ordered them about a week ago and they arrived super quick. i didnt get a palette that was already put together, instead i decided to put together my own freedom palette where i get to choose my own colors. i was a little difficult being that i had to order online between Inglot stores are very far and between. i say it was a little difficult because it is really hard to determine the true color of a product online, its so much easier picking it out in person where i am able to swatch and see the true finish on skin.... buuuuuuutttt, i've heard so many amazing things about Inglot that i just figured i couldnt go wrong with whatever colors i chose so i went for it!! So i ordered the palette that holds 5 shadows.

Each eyeshadow was $5 for 2.7g/0.09oz compared to MAC's $12-$15 eyeshadows which are 1.5g/0.05oz.... INCREDIBLE!!!!! and in my opinion these eyeshadow are waaaaay more pigmented if not as pigmented as the MAC eyeshadows. on top of the amazing price the texture of the shadows are amazing! all of the shadows have a matte finish except for the gold one in the middle; it is a shine finish. they glide on super smooth and blend wonderfully. i did a look using them today and i cant wait to play with them even more!

Inglot does not name their products, instead they number them. i will list the items from left to right:

• 391 Matte (a very dark matte black)


• 342 Matte (a very taupy brown color)


• 06 Shine (a pretty shimmery gold)


• 386 Matte (a gorgeous vibrant purple)

My Hair: 8 months post relaxer (texlaxed)

heeeey!
So this is a pic of my hair last month before I had put my sew in back in. I did a deep conditioning and a twist out that I wore for a week. I retwisted it every night after spraying with my little leave in conditioner concoction lol. But this was right before I washed it again... Looking pretty good I think. It so THICK and I LooooooVvvessss it!!
Now I'm so super excited to see what it will look like once I take my sew in out tomorrow, wash, deep condition, and let it air dry.

Super quick and sultry smokey

Hey ladies!
Just a quick little blurry blackberry pic of a look I did the other day. I was headed to school and had some stuff to do afterwards. Its just a more sultry spin on a the look I did in my "Summer go to Makeup" video (I think that's the name of it...)
