3 Days with my Natural Hair

Hey everyone! It feels so weird to be back on my blog again, but now that I have more free time I promised myself I would be more active on here. I'm so excited to share more on here that I don't get the chance to film or always remember to snap pics of on my Instagram. But any who, I hope that you are all doing well and I am so excited to be sharing new updates in my hair journey with you dolls.

Let me begin by explaining the 90% of the time that I have been natural (which has been all of a little over 3 years) I have spent wearing wigs, weaves, or having my hair straightened. I have now decided to actually embrace my natural texture. Keep in my that was always my intentions, hence why I decided to go natural in the first place, but I never really wanted to take the time to figure out what works best for my natural hair. The most I would ever do is a twist out... sad sad sad. Now adays I really want to see more of my curls popping! I have been experimenting with new styling and products which I have noticed have caused my curl texture to really intensify. I am sooooo happy about it!! Below are some pictures and a group of products that I have used in my hair over a course of 3 days. I just wanted to share a bit of my new routine with you all. I plan on doing more post such as this and just letting you all know what I am doing to embrace the styling of my natural hair. (Smiles)

Pictured above (Links to all these products are provided below):
-Organic Root Stimulator Smooth-n-Hold Pudding
-Design Essentials Strengthening Therapy Shampoo
-Design Essentials Organic Cleanse Shampoo
-Josie Marine Argon oil
-One-n-Only Argon oil hair mask
-spray bottle containing conditioner, olive oil, and water

Day 1:
On the first day I decided to rock a twist out. I shampooed my hair with the two Design Essentials shampoos mentioned above and deep conditioned with the One-n-Only hair mask. After rinsing out my deep conditioner I sprayed my hair with the CD leave in and applied a small amount of Miss Jessie's Con dish Leave in conditioner. I applied the Noodle head to each section along with some of the ORS smoothing pudding. If I felt as though my hair was getting damp, I sprayed it with a bit of my mixture in the spray bottle. The video pretty much explains it all...
My hair air dried over night and I removed the twist and separated the strands for a bit more volume.

Day 2 (Sorry no pictures):
That night I decided to secure my hair into a few Bantu knots in order to preserve some curls. I moisturized my hair with a bit of the ORS smoothing pudding then sealed with the Josie Marine Argon oil. My hair sat over night and I removed them the next day as shown in the video. It had lots of body and texture which I love!

Day 3:
I did not any more product to my hair that night. I simply created larger Bantu knots, tied with a scarf and went to sleep. The next day I removed the Bantu knots and decided to do a little front twist at the front of my hair. It was super adorable, but when I began filming I threw it up into a high bun.

I hope you all enjoy this post along with the video. Any questions, comments, or concerns; of course just leave in the comment section. Look forward to more post such as these. Thanks for stopping by my page!!

  1. Hi! I would like to open beauty salon. Does anybody have an experience in this business? There are too many options in different salon equipment. Could anybody give me an advise? What store is more reliable to buy Black styling station and White styling stations. I'm choosing between Advance-Esthetic.Com and Spa&Equipment websites.
